Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) is an evidence-based complement to standard-of-care, 12-step-based or related aftercare programs for addictive or reactive behaviour.

This program is eight-weeks long meeting once per week and combines the tools of Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with a special focus on skills for maintaining a commitment to abstinence or harm-reduction goals with regard to substance use and related problem behaviour.

Mindfulness assists individuals to recognize and tolerate craving and urges, while CBT provides a means to identify situations and thoughts that trigger substance use or reactive problematic behaviour.
Class size is limited to 16 participants,

Certificates of completion are provided and upon request, and with consent, a summary of participation and attendance can be provided to third parties.
